Description Café is an afternoon in an old Tokyo coffee shop: bitter roasted coffee, a twist of orange and a sweet, flowery finish. J-Scent released it in 2022 as No. 22 in its line, inspired by the retro kissaten of Japan's Showa era. Coffee, orange and lemon open it, orange blossom, lily of the valley and violet bring a soft floral lift, and vanilla, musk and cedar give a warm drydown that the house describes as caramel-like. The coffee is real enough to recognise, but the flowers keep it lighter and prettier than most coffee gourmands.
