Geranium Absolue

Description Geranium Absolue is Bourbon geranium from leaf to flower: green, rosy and softly powdery over a warm tonka and labdanum base. Andy Tauer released it in September 2026 as part of his Absolue line, handmade in Switzerland, and presented it at Pitti Fragranze. He describes it as sitting somewhere between the leaf and the flower, and names his earlier L'Air du Jardin Caché as a step on the way. Bergamot, lemon and aromatic herbs open it bright and crisp. The geranium heart is leafy, rosy-green and a little powdery, and the drydown warms into tonka bean, labdanum, oakmoss, woods and vanilla. Tauer says he gave the materials more room this time, so the base never drowns out the flower.
