Description Burgundy is a 2017 release from Hind Al Oud, the Dubai-based Emirati house founded in 2001 by Mohamed Hilal, and one of the house's fragrances built with no oud or agarwood at all. It opens on sparkling orange and tart cranberry, fruity and bright, before settling into a warm, sugared vanilla heart. Ambroxan, musk, and tonka bean ground the base, giving it the rich, lingering warmth of a Western-style gourmand rather than the resinous depth of the house's traditional oud work.
